Discharge a patient
Take an inpatient through the discharge steps, from the doctor's order to releasing the bed.
Start discharge
The doctor writes the discharge order. Then go to Admissions, open the inpatient and click Start discharge.
Follow the 6 steps
The steps are: discharge order, discharge summary (drafted from the chart for the doctor to check), take-home medicines, final bill and PhilHealth claim, nurse's teaching, and releasing the bed.
Collect the balance
Collect the balance shown under Final bill before the patient goes home.
Release the bed
When the bed is released it goes to cleaning.
